Uh-huh. What makes you think that I was "giggling" and moving the piece myself? As a matter of fact I was quite serious, and I imparted no motion at all to the piece. Because I didn't move the piece, the piece didn't move. The piece moves where you subconsciously want it to move. It's just that simple. I was as serious in the approach as I could have possibly been, I gave it a half-hour, and wonder of all wonders, absolutely nothing happened. This is not the dark ages people.

Maybe our unconscious is full of repressed traumatic memories that are constantly threatening to become conscious and when we mess around with stuff that's supposed to be creepy, we sort of cooperate in bringing these memories to the surface. One way the mind functions is by association. When fear is activated, the associations spiral down the vortex of fear setting of enormous psychic energies and an uncontrollable sequencing of associations typical of madness or psychotic break. The onrush of repressed memories, prior to their becoming conscious as memories initiates a sense of immediate impending doom and the freak out panic experience. Negative associations with every past imagined evil will dominate in the chain of inevitable uncontrolled mental associations. In a therapeutic setting, with conscious forewarning that this is all that fear amounts to, sometimes it's possible to transition from the feeling of impending death to a real memory of having died in childhood. There, of course, the person reaches the shore of safety because he or she experiences the real and remembers it. The transition from psychotic avoidance to deep suffering is like being reborn.

Church, I'm loathed to believe such stories, but there are a seemingly inexhaustible supply of them. I therefore remain undecided. Paranormal events including stuff like telekinesis are often reported in homes inhabited by teenaged girls. Is that a myth or are there real effects some minds can have on the environment, I don't know. Since we don't understand the ultimate nature of reality I would not be prepared to say that the mind and the world are in separate locked boxes.
when iwas like 11 and used to hang around in the 'ruff' part of town, we used to try weejee boards, looking back, i think we did it wrong. we just wrote yes/no on the board. anyway, it was always obvious that some one was pushing it (used a plastic cup) but i was always fun to go 'OH S#$T!!!! I didn't post my true story expecting you all to believe it. We did it in the kids bedroom that was adjacent to the backyard and that's how we got the hose so easily.
The worst part is that the one kid that tried summoning the devil had three relatives pass away in the next 6 weeks. Two of them brutally murdered in totally seperate incidents.
One aunt on his mothers side and one cousin on his fathers side. The grandmother died of natural causes.
He has always thought that it was his fault and he turned to drugs and now is a strung out heroin addict in and out of rehab. He was an honor student before.
Don't screw with the supernatural. I mean it.
