Okay, about to order pc, everythings chosen. Two quick questions...

1. The monitor i chose is a 19inch samsung crt on which the recommmended resolution is 1600x1200. Does that mean that games will look blurry if I play below that? Will I be able to get decent framerates (around 50) with a 7800gt, 3500venice, and 1gbof ram?

2. I realise that alot of peopl are now recommending 2x1gb ram sticks, I absoluteltly cannot push my budget that far. My question is if in the near future I got a 2x1gb kit and ran it with my 2 512 sticks, everything would run okay, right?

1. No, CRT's can display at any supported resolution without issue.

2.Yes. If you get 2x512 now, you can always get 2x512 later and run 4x512. If for some reason you felt the need for 3 GB, then that would also work.
