Ouestion about the TV show "Lost"

You know when the first show came on, and it had the jets engine upside down running...well is it possible for the engine to stay running like that?

Also happened in the movie Castaway.

Realistically, it wouldn't even be on the ground. Jet engines are self-sufficient entities. It should have been flying around the island, like a bird or perhaps an iguana.

Take a look at the 3rd picture down here.

Tex Johnston took the 707 prototype into a barrel roll.

Haha, i gotta see an entire picture for me to believe it. But that would be cool.

Nope, it's true. They had video of it on the Discovery Wings Channel.
