Ouch, that steak hurts!

I just ate a steak for supper and it had big seasoning particles on it, apparently they are also somewhat sharp. I feel like an idiot for saying this but I think there is one dug in the side of my esophagus, or at least near the top of it, at the very very back of my mouth. Whenever I swallow it feels as if it is digging into the other side of my throat. Its really quite painful, can anyone recommend how I get this thing dislodged?

So far I have tried drinking lots of water and gargling, but its still there, I would rather not throw up if I dont have to, heh heh, That'd be a waste of money. 🙂

It is pretty bad if the thing is actually stuck inside your esophagus. I think it probably just left a nasty slash on your throat. In that case, just go to bed and pretend like nothing happened. If the pain persists, or if you cough up some blood, you should get the thing removed ASAP.
