So I just burned a movie to a CD-R and watched it. Yet afterwards, when I attempted to remove it from the tray, I suddenly noticed a rather disturbing amount of heat radiating from the CD. Sufficient to say, I had to let the thing cool a bit before I could touch it :Q
Methinks that this is a bit unusual, no?
Anyway, it's a Lite-on CD-RW (16x10x40). I'll try using a CD with this drive and see whether it gets 'hot' again
[edit]: tried it again and it's still crispy afterwards
a bit less warm, but still too warm for my taste.
So... should I water-cool my CD-drive?
