I sure as hell hope I will never be in an accident in my van. So much for Chinese cars being bad at these tests. GM obviously did not take crashes seriously with my ride, it just folds right on up. I am a big guy too so it would be a very tight squeeze if I were to have one (knock on wood)

I use the video in the OP for my physics class each year. After seeing the damage to the outside of the vehicles, someone always makes the statement that both vehicles received a lot of damage. I even had a physics teacher from another district comment that the damage to both cars looked about the same. I always have to point out the difference in damage to the passenger compartment, which changes the time of the impulse to the driver, even when the driver continues moving forward. (not to mention cases where the rear end leaves the ground, etc.)

But, in that OP video, the Bel Air. Wow, look at how far that dashboard comes back toward the driver.
