Man, woke up this morning and I couldn't even stand up straight. It's only gotten worse all day. Yesterday I had track pratice where we ran a few miles after doing about 120 ab reps in various exercises, then to the weightroom for some heavy squatting. Think I pull/strained something bad in my upper stomach, right below the ribs. Can't stretch it AT ALL. I've walked with a hunch all day and can't even lay flat to sleep. :( Who else is battling injury?

you didn't pull anything man.. just sore. :)

I love that feeling.. I mean, sure its painful, but it makes me happy because you know you just kicked your body's ass and that means you did good

I LOVE the good-pain feeling after a workout.

The bad-pain feeling, now that's another story. :(

Valhalla1, nah, this isn't just sore. I get sore after double sessions during the first 2 weeks of the football season.(2 6 day weeks where we pratice 8 hours a day with a break in between for those who don't know.) That's sore, sore doesn't really bother me. This is painful, promise I pulled something bad. I've played on sprained ankles, with sprained shoulders and once a broken ankle, that stuff sucked, but I can't even stand up now. :p

Right now I have a torn ACL and MCL in my R-Knee. Did it around 1 week ago (damn painful!). Surgery is due in about 1 months time... rehab for 6-9 months. Can't wait :( This is nothing compared to my shattered ankle around 3 years ago... required 10 screws and 2 metal plates. I've always noticed though that when things get bad (personal injury) you start to realized things aren't so bad (hope that made sense!). Anyway, take care all! Peace out.

I'm only a med student, but I can tell you it's extremely difficult to do any damage to your abdominal muscles that way. You'll live...
