Witnesses slam Army care at Walter Reed

I find it deplorable that our troops are not receiving the ABSOLUTE BEST healthcare this country has to offer...but for those of you salivating over HillaryCare/LiberalCare/National Health Care...this is what you should expect...what happens when the government has so much control. It is far from perfect. And making it bigger for everyone won't make it better. It will only get worse.

There's already a thread about this topic

I watched the whole thing. It was kind of funny to watch the "top brass" to try and tap dance around some of the issues. Those 2 generals got their asses handed to them. The sad thing is that it will probably not change a thing. The Army health care system is so muddled with red tape and bureaucracy that nothing ever seems to get done. And the problems fall down to the lowest levels causing the troops, who really need the care, not to get the proper care. This should definitely be a eye opener for those who support universal healthcare; while it sounds good it really does not work.

Bahahahahaha gotta love the wingnuts.

Is Hillary the President?

Did she put in place this Drug anti-plan debacle?

At least with Universal Care you won;lt have half the Country without health care.

To those with money and used to the current system, too bad, get over it.

Didn't the care at Walter Reed go down after some portion of it was privatized. Sounds to me like an example of why the government can't trust the private sector with veteran care.
On Friday, House Democrats released documents showing Weightman was warned in September that the Army's decision to turn over support services for the facility to a private contractor sparked an exodus of skilled staff. That left patient care "at risk of mission failure," Weightman's deputy, Col. Peter Garibaldi, warned in a memo to the general.

Provided this is actually the reason and not some convient excuse. If you dig deep enough I am sure you will find connections between this firm and some politician.
Thus you can expect to see the same shananigans with a govt run UH system. Bigger govt == more corruption.

Now I am a bit skeptical at this excuse, mainly because for the conditions I have seen in the video's it woudl have had to take years to get this bad. It is possible this private entity didnt do any work, however after a few months of nothing getting done, the govt oversight should have kicked in and got soembody in who would do the work. But it didnt, obviously.

Never trust the private sector to do the job that the government can do itself, is what I got out of this mess.

Get a clue! The Bushwhackos sent our troops into Iraq. Who else should be responsible for caring for those wounded in their war of lies, other than the same government who sent them?

Their piss poor planning for every aspect of their criminal war is yet another list of their crimes against all of Amerca. They failed to plan adequatenly for the care oif all the wounded they knew their war would create. The only question is, WHY? :(
At the time of the crime, who believed us?
We all took a fall on the ride,
When the powers that be had deceived us to leave us the debtor.

And Who's Watching Over Who's Watching Over You?
Tell me who's telling you what to do what to do?
Yer doin' a heck of a job, Bushie! :|
