umm, since we've gone off topic in an off topic thread, would this be on topic? because I wanted this to be OFF topic, so let's start talking about this issue, which will make it a triple negative, bringing it back to off-topicness.

hardware central, Tom's, Techgrounds, are a few of the other forums I visit and part-take in. each has their own strengths and weaknesses.

the biggest problem with all of the forums are a few people who want to take it on themselves to flame newbies or just be rude to others who have a contrasting opinion.

but I have gotten much more out of the forums then I have hoped and greatly appreciate those folks that have shared their experiences.

I've been a member at HardOCP forum since March, but I've only posted about 50 messages (I'm still stank cheeze :Q). I post at a UK forum on ADSL implementation, and also at a few guitar forums (http://www.fenderforum.com)

I must say though, this one's my fave, and I prefer the layout/options of this forum to any other I visit. I suppose we can thank fusetalk for that.
