other dns company besides dnsmadeeasy

dyndns.com I have used for a very long time - they have dynamic DNS services which are free. Is that what you are asking about?

So here is every thing you want to know about DNS Services (have fun). 😉

oh be quiet. im tired of your rude and sometimes obnoxious remarks. how the hell did you become a moderator?

You noticed i wrote "dnsmadeeasy" so you know damn well what i was trying to get at. If i said "any other social networking site such as myspace" you would say "facebook, bebo, etc..."
and not something along the lines of "why? what are you trying to do with this site."

stop being an a$$ and think you know it all. it's ppl like you that makes visiting these boards less interesting.

Don't mind him so much, he's just suffering from acute tech burnout... he just needs to cut back on helping folks in his free time for a while, that's all.
I dont like his additude any more then you do, but I do have some compassion for him as I have been in similar shoes to his before - as anyone that has been csupport has to some extent.

If I were looking for social interaction I would go to facebook, or whatever.

I guess I am in error thinking that this is a Technolgy Forum.

In any case, the main service that dnsmadeeasy provides is "Enterprise DNS, DNS Failover with System Monitoring". Is this is what you are looking for?

Otherwise, the table in my previous post shows what is available, and what is free or for pay.

Personally I find no-ip.com as the best of the bunch.

I don't think that part of the criticism is fair. The first several repliers obviously didn't know. I don't know. Should we go hit the website and look up what the company does, as Jack ultimately did?

Or should you take the time to write one or two additional lines about the services you use and what you do with them, so that the people you're requesting advice/input from have a little more info to go on?

It had nothing to do with what he said, it was the manner in which he said it that upset the original poster, I think.
