I just reformatted my computer (xp pro). first thing i did was create another user- administrator account so as not to use the default. i have norton, did all the windows updates available....and i'm having a problem with the shared documents. no other computer on our network can open my shared docs. it tells them access denied. I did the network setup wizard. When i right click on my shared docs it says it is shared and others can make changes. ..BUT it does have the read only attribute marked, and if i unmark it, it goes right back to read only. not sure if that is part of the problem.

can anyone help??

Thank You!!!!!!!

nevermind, i think i found the fix...all ihad to do was uncheck the share that folder...apply..and then recheck and apply ....how easy was that?? not sure why i had to do that, but it worked!
