I always though Americans spelled it Colour, and Canadian's spelled it as Color. Guess I was wrong (that's what our teacher said... what a moron). 🙂

I'm surprised so many of you dont appear to realise that colour is not a mis-spelling of the world. Another example Disk / Disc.

In England, colour is spelt with a 'u' - in the US they dropped it.

You just don't read the words, focus on the top of the first letter or such and name the color.

Colour is a less used but acceptable variation of color in the USA.

actually disc is really only used in compact disc. Floppy disks and hard disks are still the perferred spelling.
