OT: Which OS should I put on my new IBM 60gxp???

Abit Kt7a
Duron 800
384mb
geforce2 mx
plextor 12x burner
6x dvd rom
10/100 nic
sb 128
my new 60gxp 40gig hd

I have all versions of windows but I just need some suggestions on what to put on my new drive. I am headed back to college and will be on 56k . I use the system for gaming, internet, word processing, and occasional photo editing. Thanks and take care

My vote goes for win2k or xp if you can get it...

I wouldnt wish win98 on anyone, and 384mb is too much for it anyways.

You should definitely put windows 2000 on that, it would run pretty well with that processor and would utilize that ram much better then 9x or ME.
