Hi there,
I've searched for the thread about the student loan consolidation with the links to the online sites but can't find it with the new search engine. Can anyone help?

Thanks and Mod pls don't lock as I really need this due to the additional .5% reduction the Fed just implemented.

---

I just did a deeper search. Sorry, I cannot find the thread, either. :(

I do not believe it was removed by our moderators. We have lost some threads in the changeover to FT3, especially some that are old enough to be in the archives.

I did not personally use that thread, but I am sure it was apparently useful to many.

You now join a large number of us who have suddenly, without warning, been visited by the removal of
incredibly useful threads.
It seems that mods are very vigilant about opportunities to lock threads, so it also would seem they
read some threads that have this very question asked - where did it go!

It is reasonable that storage limitations require some purging of content, but that said, it is almost
unimagineable that some warning would be given for those that do these removals, with some sensible
time limit.
What would be best, is just moving the thread somewhere.

After all the posts about this problem, the only response I've seen from the shadow world of
the mods, is don't ask.

We are a small group of volunteers, and you don't know jack about what we do, or what we do or do not delete, or what other events happen on our forums to cause threads to be moved or deleted, or how hard we work just to keep the forums running.

If you don't like the way we do our job, feel free to find the exit. It's free, so it is a Hot Deal.

I hope we weren't hacked by Omsa bin Laden and his buddies wanting to remove hot deals to save us Americans money and thus be a weaker nation to fight back.

Frglss - very interesting post.
Why? because that thread was started in April!- and I guess where the "forum" is,
can't be said in public.
