I will be building the same rig tomorrow. X2 3800 will be working on Rosetta. I am going to use W2k pro. I heard XP home works with these CPU also.

I'm running XP (pro) on my X2s without issue. (Just be sure to get the AMD driver from their site and install it. when you are inatalling the other drivers for the new build.

I changed the CD-ROM drive twice and now all is working after the 4th install and many fixes!

Let's see how she does!
