OT: Weird question of the month :D

I see questions/answers here and on other forums and I try to answer them if I can, as do many members of this TeAm.
What I would like to know is, does anybody use a microphone to dictate their answers or is it all keyboards and fingers?

Keyboard and fingers here. I just got one of those keyboards that has the keys split down the middle and discovered that i was using the wrong fingers for the Y and B keys :Q

I tried the speech recognition in MS Office XP for a bit, but didn't like it. All of my input is by hand (fingers). 🙂

The talk program I have is funny. An old version of Dragon. It is good for laughs that is about it. If you taught it all the names and terms it might be OK. I think it would take more time to teach it than it would save you in the long run. I would never trust it blindly.

PS Mech - those keyb's would make good roofing for bomb shelters wouldn't they ! They sell like hot cakes on ebay 😀

EXCELLENT keyboard! They don't make them like that anymore! 🙂

My father absolutely loves them also.
It sucks working in his office in town when he is typing away on some email.
clickety-clack, clickety-clack, clickety-clack, clickety-clack, @ 105 words/minute.
For driving me nuts I absolutely hate them.
There are times I just want to grab it and throw it on the floor.
But will that even break it?
