I would like to use my Cambride SoundWorks 4.1's as my Home Theater speakers and what I need to know is what device do I need to provide the line-out for the Front and Rear channels as well as the Sub (if applicable). What kind of sound processor do I need?

You need to use at least Klipsch for home theater applications, but why would you use computer speakers? Just get a Home-Theater-in-a-Box system. There are some good cheap ones available. Your Cambridge SoundWorks speakers more than likely cannot put out decent-fidelity sound at high volumes like are needed for home theater.

I am awaer of the downside, however right now they are what I have and will do the job until the budget allows for a new theater in a box. However other than building a dedicated pc to use in the mix I am out of luck as far as I can tell.

Thanks anyhow.

At least klipsch? As in a decent set of Cambridge Soundworks speakers or some Logitechs won't do it?
For 'decent-fidelity sound at high volumes' the klipsch HTIB sets fall woefully short anyway...

Back to the question: What source are you using? The 4.1s I believe you're talking about will take a stereo/quad line-level input. If you want something akin to pro-logic surround some tweaking might be necessary...
