(wife was feeling guilty after I redid the bathroom, bought her a dvd (dlp) and got her a few toys including a big gorilla lol (stuffed animal)

I spent 100 on me for christmas and 600 on her + 400 on the kids clothes

Not yet, ram and a dvd comes first.

I still have an hp 932c in my pile of not used because because it needs (insert something here- in this case ink) pile beside my desk. that pile has grown considerably since my inception to d.c.

the reason she is being so good about upgrades is I am supposed to remove the pile sometime soon...

the pile consists of 4 or 5 computer cases,
about the same # of motherboards, video cards, ram, monitors,soundcards etc...
I was building some(attempting to build some) crunchers from used parts.
It also contains a few boxes of various wires speakers left over mice ...etc...
Ok damn it I admit I am a packrat 😛 not as bad as some, but a lot more than others *sigh*
I keep promising that if she lets me upgrade this (again insert newest upgrade here) I'll get rid of that.
It is easy to say but when I approach the pile, I hear my friends (the parts in the pile) call out to test each piece before throwing them away.

But something is odd...This year she told me to upgrade...............Could it be that she no longer cares if I throw it all out?
Is it some ploy?

For 6 years we have bantered over the pile, and it has grown and diminished at times, but alas I am thinking its days are numbered.
