OT - The weather

Silverthorne

A little over a year ago I posted how cold it was here in Duluth, MN right now I have -20.1 degrees and with the windchill it comes to about -45 below zero. It's rather bitter out right now.

In the morning it should be "Mostly sunny. Highs zero to 5 above zero. West winds 10 to 20 mph. Wind chill readings of 40 to 50 below zero in the morning."😕

That is cold. We have only - 12 degrees C (= + 12 m/s winds - (m/s = meters/second; 12m/s = 26 miles/hour) ... not too bad. Don't know the windchill at that wind ...

I know what you mean. It's actually cold again here in Texas. 🙁 Currently 45, but feels like 39. Tomorrow, high of 46, low of 39. So it will feel like 35 or so.

It was nice here on Thursday, but bitter cold this morning. Ah... soon it will be springtime in the Northern Latitudes...

I little chilly here too, though not as bad as you guys farther North.

9°F (-13°C)
Wind Chill: -5°F (-21°C)

Yesterday when the cold front came thru we had 20-30 mph sustained winds with gusts in the 50-60 mph range.
It was 60°F here on Thursday.

Sheesh. Northerners... 🙂 Don't worry. Mine machine will be suffering in the summer, when it's 105 with 100% humidity... And that will start here in a month or so, if not sooner.

We had some weather from the Frasier blow in last thursday.
Went from a daytime in the 60's down to 20f right now.
Last night was about 12f.

But it is sunny, and sunny in the Northwest is always nice no matter what the temp.
My southern exposed windows are really helping with the comfort level inside the house!

I hope you're all taking the opportunity to overclock your boxes just that little bit further. It's about 25c/80f here 🙁
