One of my mates was involved in an accident just before 10pm GMT with a police car on a 999 emergency call on one of the roads through town last night. No one in my mate's car was injured, but the two police officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

And I was in that car about 7hrs earlier at about 2:15pm! :Q

Glad to hear your mates are okay. :)

Hope the police are as well. Sucks to see cops hurt in the line of duty. :(

My mum has been almost killed twice due to irresponsible police driving. :|

I wont say anymore except that I am glad no one was badly wounded (I hope anyway).

See that black mark on the hood? It looks just like the mark I put on a car form the tires on my truck. That police car mush have been flying to leave a mark that high.

no its on the right side, tho it looks like the police were at fault, it seems a bit head on. glad your mates are okay, and I hope the police officers injured are well.

My mate was doing about 5mph going across the crossroads, and the cop came up at quite a speed from the right, and the was straight, ended up span round 45 degrees!

The police officer has admitted responsibility, and they are both out of hospital and OK.

My mate made a good point when talking to him on MSN that if he was 1 metre more forward i might not be talking to him at that time!

And the police car has been taken off the road, due to all the underbody damage when it scraped the underside along the wall! And it only had a few thousand miles on the clock too!

And BTW OK, the steering wheel is not on the wrong side, it is on the right (and correct) side :p;)

A little off the subject but we had 4 local cops out pulling a allnighter and they flipped the bronco doing about 80mph, 2 cops in the back seat were killed and the driver was OK but the cop in the other front seat got hurt pretty bad. Today they charged the driver with Motor vehicle homicide 2 counts and driving while intoxicated. The police chief was on tv tonight stating what wonderfull officers that they all were.
