I had a nice visit with networkman this weekend, as he drove down from Michigan to deliver some parts MrFluffy, myself, and another Anandtech member had purchased, as well as deliver an APC Matrix 3000 UPS that work had purchased from his workplace.

MrFLuffy has already started playing with the SCSI drives, and they are going to work great in the server we are building!

I hope he had a good time too, and a safe drive back. :)

Now I've got to work on a Central Ohio TA LAN party for next year..... :D

So, would us Northeastern Ohioans be invited to this central Ohio TA LAN shindig thingie? Or are we too "yankee" for you southern boys?

Thank you "Ray" - I did have a good time, and now another AT member, Luckster, knows about you. Your secret is out! :p

I got back safe and sound; I look forward to a LAN party this summer! ;)

<Ray...anything North of I-10 is considered Yankee country! >

I lived in Houston for several years when I was pre-school age, so I guess the question is which side of I-10 did I live on? ;)

NWM,
Glad to hear you got back ok. :D

I use to live out by Hobby Airport back when Houston had less than 1,000,000 population. They were building the Galveston Freeway when I moved away from the downtown area and it only reached to exit 3: Telephone Road. :) So, I was south of I-10, no wait, there was no I-10 then, it was U.S. 90. Anyway, I think you could move the Southern boundary up to I-20, or even I-30 and still encompass the true South! :)

ShotgunSteve, Does it make you really far north of the Lower 48? ;)

Since we have so many people on the TeAm from Ohio, it made me curious as to whether there are any TeAm members from Pennsylvania. I'm in southeastern PA.

Hey RAY
I spose us Minnesota'z are as yankee as they come eh? :p I am sure I will try to make it to this one this year. It might be a long drive. But I will surely try to make it.
Good to hear that you made it down there and back NWM. Is he as shifty as he sounds??? :p

No, actually, NWM didn't seem to be nearly as shifty as he sounds. Looks a bit shifty, but he really isn't. :p

<So what are we up here in Alaska?>

Freezing Dasm Yankees! :p
