Thanks mechBgon for your PC building guide! It helped me a lot in my first build today. It went flawlessly aside from some minor troubles because of stupidity, seriously I can't count how many times I cut my index finger on my left hand. Thanks for a great guide! :beer:

There's nothing wrong with showing gratitude publicly. Especially in this case, mech put a lot of work into that guide.

I am a bit of a PC Building and troubleshooting guru myself. But I find it handy as a refrence when helping others, I just give them mech's link and they tell me it works well for them.

I just started reading about building pc's aprox 4 months ago.
Now I have gone thru 4 nice rigs, and am now up to a sweet sli rig.

Thanks to all that take the time for the n00bs.

Doh now I have probs. >< It's shutting down on it's own when I play WC3. Core Center is going bonkers when I have it open but reports low temps. What is going on?

It seems fixed now. I uninstalled Core Center and now it doesn't crash anymore.
