Just wanted to post my server's info so you guys on the TeAm could have a place to frag one another.😛

Demo version is located at mysterymachine.no-ip.com:7000

and

The Retail version server is located at mysterymachine.no-ip.com (default port😉 )

Both are deathmatch servers ATM 🙂

Also if you want a place to talk a little trash then hop over to http://mysterymachine.no-ip.com/Forum and jump in the UT2K3 lounge 😀

Post any game server questions and such on that forum as to keep this DC forum "on-topic" 😉

Oh and mechBgon.....I'm still working on a way to handicap your @ss since you seem to have mastered the demo even without the translocator. 😉😛
 
Thanks for the servers CkG, it's great fun! 😀 If you find a way to restrict the weapons selection to those weapons requiring *precision* aim, then I will be hard-pressed indeed 😉 (against human players, anyway)

edit: actually, I guess the perfect implementation of that is Instagib. 🙂 I wouldn't want to play IG against the Wonderbots, however, since they can magically spot me from any distance! 😀

Like we would magically get "not sucky" vs you if I restricted the weapons 😕😛 Engineer and I don't stand a chance unless your Ping is really high😉😛



Oh and FYI - My UT server Forum got juggled around now too 😀

This game is smarter than I am... 🙁 ANyone mind telling mee xactly how I get to this server? I tried "Play OnLine/LAN" and then searched around in there for a while... Went to "Favorites" and tried adding an IP address, but it wouldn't accept non-numerical characters... Am I just dumb (we all know the answer to that though 😛)

Open game...Get to main menu...hit the "`" key (to the left of the "1" key) and then type in "open mysterymachine.no-ip.com" for the retail or "open mysterymachine.no-ip.com:7000" for the demo - oh yeah don't use the " " "s 😉😛

EDIT - neither servers are listed/advertised on the public game servers list as I wanted these to be for TeAmmates and freinds 🙂
 
Bah.. why do they make use the console? Console is only good for tweaking the performance... 🙂 thanx CkG!
 
Must be something to do with the UK keyboard ,but > `(¬) < doesn't work for me ,I have to use > ' (@) < to open the console

Which one were you trying to get to? the deom or the retail one?
I was reconfiguring the Demo server a little this morning but it still should have been reachable, and the retail server doesn't show that it has been down.

This would be very nice, but there's a slight problem: bots are enabled, on the retail server anyway. Please disable them. 🙂
 
I'm quite happy with the bots in the demo version🙂 ,gets a bit lonely otherwise if few people are around😉

I'm going into the game in just a minute.
 
Oh well ,no1 was there ,I'm off 2 thegamebox.net UT server.

Much prefer the weapons in the old UT ,why did they have to ruin the Flak cannon? 🙁
 
I'm going to have to get the original UT 🙂

Anyway...I'm going in on CkG's demo server.....come and frag me! :Q
