OT: Subscription Thread - Missing (Subs Discontinued - :| )

Guess it's time to subscribe to the forums again! Wow another year gone by!

BUT, when I get prompted to login it wants to redirect me to the subscription page which doesn't exist.

Anyone have a link or something to get me going? I looked on the main home page too and couldn't find one
there either. (Probably in front of my face and just can't see it)

Well, hate to disappoint you LANMAN, but the powers that be at Anandtech decided to not have the subscriptions anymore. 🙁

The non-sub forums are fast, you just have to put up with the ads and the 100 PM limit, and the title only searching.

Seems to me if they are going to do away with subscriptions, they could give everyone those features back.

Well, I didn't find the original thread, but it seems that there may be plans to eventually give us back some of the features.

We've been promised full text searching for quite some time, and it hasn't happened yet. I guess maybe I'm kind of cynical... [edited]. 🙁

Sorry guys, I have nothing against a particular member here involved in [a project], but the administrators and people who run this place drag their feet terribly, or so it seems, when it comes time to do anything - unless it involves removing value instead of adding it (freaking huge sidebar ads, no subscriptions, etc.) :disgust:

I still have my Subscription for a little longer - after it ends.. who knows..
