I was talking with a friend the other day about this great program he found. It's called StarStrider, and it lets you virtually fly to any of tens of thousands of nearby stars, as well as the local planets. Problem is it's very annoying Shareware, and it costs $50 to register. So I went looking and found another program, Celestia that's almost as good, and Open Source!
Whichever program you choose, now you can see just how far away those radio signals may be coming from - not to mention how long it took them to get here!
But it will slow down your processing. So feel free to share it with all your friends on other teams as well.
