OT (sorta): PowerPC any good at SETI? How about 8 processors + 144MEG cache on one chip?

That's one heck of a big chip (I presume it has good performance, too). Seeing that it's an IBM chip designed for mainframes and stuff, I don't even want to ask how much it costs. :Q

It would fit easily in your case....but the motherboard may be a problem!

Also, you might need a bigger power supply!
