OT: some DC'er want my 'messed up' 1600+ AGOIA?

I believe it's impossible to put in a modified cpu into the mobos I am using, my one experience tells me that there might be something preventing it.
This 1600+ will only run as a 1133 mhz in these motherboards no matter what I do.
I would like to sell (for a greatly reduced price) this "new" 1600+ AGOIA cpu and the OC kit I bought from Highspeedpc and then use whatever I can get for it to fund the purchase of a new chip that I will run at stock speed. Or I would trade this combo (cpu & unlock kit) for an unmodified AMD cpu + some cash - how much depends on the stock speed of the cpu.

Included will be this cpu, the three bottles of stuff from Highspeedpc (Gap filler, Cleaning Agent & Conductive Grease) and the stand up magnifying glass.

The mod I attempted on the cpu was to cut the two bottom traces on L4 and join the two top - which should have turned it ionto a locked 2000+

This was my first attempt ever and I may have messed up the thing.
I would not guarantee it to ever run faster than 1133 mhz, as that is what it is doing in my system right now. You may be able to unlock it and make it go fast, if so that would be wonderful.

I'm offering this to fellow DC'ers both to help me not get too embarrassed and to hopefully save someone some $$$ on a combination cpu & OC kit that wil be used to produce more for the TeAm (any TeAm project - I don't care which!).
 
The combo is already pending for $40 if it runs only as a 1133 mhz XP and $55 if overclockable.

I'm going to buy at least an 1800+ to take it's place and run at stock speed.

After I get the mobo from Geoffs I will probably have a great P3 700e (oc's to 933 easy), slocket, 32meg TNT2 vid card and some other stuff for sale too.
I'll likely start an official FS thread in the FS forum at that time unless it's spoken for before I get that far.

Of course if my P3 1000 is cooked I will be using the 700e and it will never come up 😉

A PIII 700 not enough ? ,ok then how about my 2 work PC's being upgraded to P4 systems soon?(real soon I hope!).
I think I may have to fire my XP1500 back up again if it means pushing back your takeover to next year😉

 
running at 933 under Win98 this P3 700 did 6 hour WU's 24/7
Not bad, an extra 4 per day might just help you a bit?
 
Nice WU times!🙂 ,whether I'll be able to run it at that depends upon the Voodoo 3 being able to handle the very overclocked AGP bus ,its on a BX chipset mbrd, (I seem to remember the Voodoo 3 faired well there😉).It also depends upon the RAM ,I thinks its got 1 stick of PC100 CL2 & 1 stick of PC133 CL3 ,I know it'll handle 126MHz FSB but I don't know about 133MHz.
Also that rig doesn't run 24/7 ,but it would still help anyway🙂
