OT: Short Story (w/ pictures!)

Yesterday the Big Boss in my company turned his laptop over to me remarking that it has been crashing intermittently for some time now.😛 Further he commented that it almost seems like a short or something. Anyhow, he needs it Monday for a business trip.😱

So, now it's Saturday morning. I had X pour me a nice cup of hot chocolate (<---irc thing😉) and sat down to tear into it. Making sure to be careful of course!😉 Low and behold I found something! It was just rolling around free inside and my exhaustive inspection of the chassis did not reveal any home for it. Must have been there since fabrication.😛 (I'm waiting for DanC to point out that COMPAQ has a better QA process.😉) Anyway, it's time to clean up this mess. I hope that was the culprit.🙂

Osmo.

Osmo, Here I thought you were going to tell us that someone had installed the D.net client and forgot to "Pause if running on battery" and that was what was killing it. Glad it was just a loose screw.

If you think you've got a mess, check mine out. MESS 😀

You two are neat freaks, I don't see a mess anywhere in those pics. Even the torn apart laptop parts are placed neatly in an orderly fashion. 😉

Sheesh, I'll have to take some pics of my son's room. Now That's a mess! 😉

For now you'll just have to use these as an example of a Mess!

😀

Hehe, Osmo, your boss had a screw loose! and now you have proof! 😉

osmo now if it only had a team anandtech wallpaper on that laptop. It would then be complete. 🙂

I can't tell...is there a cow in that system tray or not? 😉

P.S. Ray, those pictures don't come up in Netscape. 🙁

THAT'S a mess?

/me looks at the remains of his K6-2 333 laying across the floor, desk, bed, table, shelves, and part of the closet.

Yeah, okay...

Dell has a far -choke- superior -sputter- manufacturing process -heave-... 🙂

(Sorry, had to do it. But I don't build them, just support them 🙂 (Dimension Desktops on Home and Small Business))
