Does anyone else have an issue with the quick reply box on the forum? The issue that I have is that I can see this box just fine at work with Mozilla and IE6. But at home with the same Mozilla and IE6 I can't. Hmmm....

Well I am running 2000 server at work and XP Pro sp1 at home. Now that I am thinking of it, I wonder if it is my firewall somehow. I may try to test that at home. But if anyone else has this kind of issue and found a resolve please chime in. :)

Works fine here as well. The only thing I don't like about the new forums is you can't resize the PM windows.

Aha! I'm not Confused anymore! :) Zuni says there's this big red arrow up a the top. Click on it and you'll get the Quick Reply box. Click dock to dock it to the bottom of the page.

Ahh, yeah, I forgot about that! In Phoenix, it was just automatically docked. I tried it in IE6, and had to click the red button, then dock at bottom.

But Phoenix is a much better browser than IE in my opinion anyway! :)

I am very happy with mozilla, but am going to check out the phoenix again. I did some time ago and for some reason was not thrilled with it. I am installing it now.

Phoenix is a cut down Mozilla :)

Have just downloaded and installed and am trying the latest nightly build (4/11) and it's OK so far! But still got 0.5 just in case! ;)

I just did that same with the nightly. Seems pretty darn nimble! I will have to get used to the interface a little, but it's nice. Once question, where does it pull the bookmarks from? It pulled most of my mozilla bookmarks but is incomplete.

Erm, pass with regards to bookmarks! I know it can pull bookmarks from IE, but when I installed XP last time, i installed 0.5 before I even opened IE!!

Never used Mozilla before tho

It's wierd, I am useing mozilla and it's like it semi uses my mozilla profile. I even went to my webmail page and it brought up my password. Plus it's like it is using an older bookmark file. Hmm...

Anyway I kinda like it. It does not handle the tab groups I had set up, but oh well.

I think going from Mozilla to Phoenix is kind of a side-step, whereas either is a step forward from IE! ;)

I've been using it for about 2-3 months now, and I really really like it, I won't be going back to IE anytime soon, if at all! :)

Yep, they are very similar. phoenix seems a little quicker to load pages, but will test that with my dial up. ;) I also like that this is JUST a browser! I will use it for a few days and decide if I want to stick with it. And I agree, I will not go back to IE any time soon!

It would be nice if phoenix had a forms manager like mozilla. It is nice to be able to automatically fill in my address and stuff when I order parts.

Hey Confused, just wanted to say thank for the phoenix link. I really like this browser. The only thing I miss is the form fill, but if I need to use it I just bring up mozilla, also it does not appear to be able to save a set up open tabs as one bookmark like mozilla does. This one just seems to be a little faster and I like that it is JUST a browser. So for anyone else interested, check it out, it is very cool and has a ton of skins. Much more than mozilla!

Anyone tried any of the nightly builds? I'm downloading the one from April 11 now.

I've been using IE for years, so this should be interesting...
