I didn't know where to post this so I thought I would try here. Anyway, I just received my TI-89 from staples.com, and I am going to send in the UPC code to get my free Graph-Link kit. Now I am just curious that if something were to happen to my 89 in the next few days and I need to return it, will they let me even though the UPC code is missing from the package now? In general, do stores let you do this? Thanks.

Exchange I would say yes because something is wrong with it and you just want a new one.

Return I would say no. You don't get your money back for something that you may have sent a rebate in for already. If they would do this, I would go buy tons of that free software, cdrs, microphones, and joysticks, send in the rebate, then go return them and double my money.
