My 10 year old wanted an Ipod, she bought him the 30 gig version , had to chase round half the bloody country to get it! (£219, video playback) where's the icon for green with envy ???
7,500 songs , about 3 lifetimes worth of video playback,
I'm going to tell him Santa got mugged by 3 hoodies and keep it for myself 😀 😀

QFT... It is an amazing gadget. I started off using it sparingly for travel (mainly on airplanes) and eventually found myself using it more and more for podcasts and audiobooks, and now for videos and a few TV clips as well.

My 3rd gen 40 gigger is still goin' strong despite practically zero battery life :Q but I keep it on the charger most of the time anyway (at work, in car).

I envy the 5th gen ones with their extended battery life, but the only way I could part with my current one is to have it pried from my cold dead fingers. 🙂
