Also, the August cumulative update for IE was released today. Time to run windowsupdate again. This isn't as big as the RPC flaw being that you need to connect to a SQL dbase being run by a malicious admin (or one infected w a probably soon to be written malicous virus/worm) but don't say you weren't warned. 😉
 
I did Windows Update on both of my systems earlier today, since my parents use IE extensively (I "applied" the best IE "patch" known as Mozilla, many months ago). Also, my ICF is active, and Norton A/V is up to date, so I should be ok for a few minutes. 😱 😉
