I had a case very similar to that (different window on side panel) where I used to work, and I believe MrFiTTy has one.

They're quite nice cases :)

I like those LED fans too :)

What's the specs and Seti times on that rig?

Totally stock cpu & memory running at fast timings gets it times that look like this:

2003 Apr 05 09:56pm 5.709,9.2 4.023 192.168.0.10 3:13
2003 Apr 05 06:43pm 22.973,18.01 0.417 192.168.0.10 3:40

The case came with the window & the clear fan, so I just went to radioshack and got the LED's & resistors - then wired them into the +5v side.
I mounted them by placing them on the corners of the fan and then used twisty tie wire through the screw mounthing holes.
Then I used a combination of contact cement & black tape to run the wiring down the inside of one of the legs of the black X so they are invisible from outside.

I'll have to see about that one, I don't yet know what her feelings are about the search.
She wont be getting it from me until she pays for it - so it will be running seti at least until then ;)

yeah, I gave this person the color choices & she said black with blue as a second choice - I'm sure she will be happy ;)

I'd like to get a bright UV LED to put in there, the HDD cable is a rounded glow in the dark thing that I believe would light up with the addition of a UV LED.

I just delivered & set up the machine last night. She was very happy with it of course, anything I want to run on there is fine with her and to keep it running all the time isn't a problem for her either ;)

I found that it was very easy to set up seti driver with the scheduling service on XP to start when the computer starts ;) And no annoying little blue icon on the taskbar to be meddled with :D

I will need to go and offload the WU's from time to time onto a cdrw until she gets an internet connection, but that's OK as I can give the machine a checkup at those times.

All in all a very nice way to improve my set stats while providing a friends daughter with a great computer to use for her schoolwork ;)
