Doh. I was assimilating a friends laptop for RC5-72 (i know, lame project). I accidentally deleted both the "Internet Explorer" and the "My Documents" Icons from his desktop. Don't ask how, I think it was a combination of me holding the laptop upside down to check out the back, and the "delete confirmation" being OFF. Unbelievably funny actually, that half of his desktop was empty when I next looked. All the rest were just sitting in the recyle bin, but the IE and My Documents are not.

I've temporarily replaced them with shortcuts to prevent any freak-out, but how do I get these back? I tried installing Tweak UI, and it gives me the option of putting Outlook and COntrol Panel icons back on desktop, but IE and My Documents aren't available?

Can anyone help?

FYI -

for IE go to Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, advanced, "Show IE icon on desktop"

for Control panel, go to My Computer, tool, folder options, view, "Show My Documents on desktop"
 
Sorry I can't help with the My Documents icon, but to get IE back, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing > (check) Show Internet Explorer on the desktop.
