as seen here

my van (1991 dodge grand caravan) was vandalized last week (ripped the door metal under the lock then destroyed the steering sector and lock.) this was the second time its been broken into...last time they shattered the passenger window and stole the cd player and 400 cd's.It is being retired as it will cost more than its worth to fix.

now i need info on alarms.

I need something that will offer a decent deterent as well as be reasonably priced but am clueless as to what to look for?

any help appreciated

mike

figure out how to get it to your house and you can have the whole van

but it has a blown head gasket right after i just replaced the transmission

lol reminds me of home....no one locks anything because robberies are so rare

here seems like every other week something gets broke into

thanks for the memory

Nope I don't even brother to lock the doors on my old thing
I remember when I lived in Moberly, MO for a few years. It was the same way. You never had to lock anything because you could actually trust people not to mess with your stuff. Sometimes I miss that small town mentality. A city has a way of making one very cynical.

Rats!! guess it is not up to a 300 mile drive then 😀

I just replaced the trannie in my ex-girlfriends van........ she ran over a parking barrier at around 30 mph! she also ripped out all 3 engine mounts and bent the tie rods. That tranismission was a .............!

nope but well worth the trip

leather seats 4captains chairs, glass all the way around
newer tires a 93 tranny that was rebuilt-all wheel drive,
etc...

calling around tommorow to get it towed away
sad as i had over 8,000.00 invested in it.
