I know this is way off topic, but I thought you guys might be interested.
There is a group of guys (my father in law included) right now in the Republic of Palau on the 6th expedition to search for lost WWII aircraft, and the men that flew them.

This time the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) is with them, and brought with them a C-17 full of gear. There is also a camera crew along to do a documentary on the project. It will air on discovery channel sometime, if they feel it is good enough.

There will be updates posted on the website every 3 or 4 days, depending on access. I do not want to post the site here, but if you are interested in it, PM me. Unless I am told that posting the address here is not a problem. I am in no way involved directly with the project.

I guess I should have just put it there in the first place.
click here at the bottom of the page are links for the updates. They are coming in just about everyday. It is looking like they will find some new sites this time. They may have even come across a plane with some remains in it.
