I am setting up dual displays in my computer and i have the choice of a Diamond Stealth 3D 2000 Pro or Matrox Mystique 220 4MB.

Which one do you think will be better, image, performance and compatibility wise with GF2MX (AGP), SB Live and WinTV card, causing no sound/gfx hitches at all.

I have had the Matrox running in XP before, but i am not sure about the Diamond card.

Thanks in advance

I can't speak on these cards specifically, but a good deal of the 4meg and less cards out there don't support MultiMon. I would make sure the card is going to work in that config first before you worry about image quality, etc (which IMHO shouldn't vary that much between the cards in this sit).

Definately use the Matrox. The Stealth 3D is ViRGE-based(and for this reason, I'd love to reccomend it;)), and as far as I know of, the ViRGE isn't supported under WinXP(although I may be wrong). Besides, Bgod is correct when it comes to image quality, the Matrox will be nicer than the ViRGE, which is probably what you're going for.

Another vote for the Matrox. If I recall correctly, the only drivers available for the Stealth 3D 2000 are Win NT. Now, I have made those drivers work in Win2K on an old box for a friend. However, all he uses the box for is e-mail and word processing. Personally, I wouldn't trust the Diamond with Win XP.
