I finally broke down and purchased one of those 80gig monsters for my sons new machine (8kha+, XP1800),
its gone from 5+ hr WU's to 3:00-3:30 a WU, not bad for an 11 yr olds gaming machine (he he he) that keeps his room warm at night.

However, I need a link to site that shows tricks on how to back up games and play games without the cd after install.
He does a lousy job of taking care of cd's, so I have started making backups.

I remember someone posted links in DC once before, but my searches aren't turning up anything.
