There once was a man from Nantucket.
He put his PC in a bucket.
He kicked it around,
It made a bad sound.
And now he's afraid he must chuck it. 😀

OR, more appropriate to my mood and situation today:

My overclock failed.
The BIOS it bailed.
It made me quite mad,
Until ClockGen was had.
And then a much faster speed nailed.


This was inspired by my stubborn home PC. It's a Sempron 2600+ that's been running at an even 2.0GHz on a Biostar K8NHA Grand motherboard - the max the BIOS would allow. Yesterday the BIOS stopped applying any overclocking settings when booting even though the actual settings stayed set in the BIOS, so I was "forced" to find a software overclocking tool. The folks in the CPU forum recommended ClockGen, so I've been playing around with it most of the day now and my computer is currently running stable at 2.23GHz. 😀

hehehehehe. Working on my bottle of Skyy right now, and then after that, Ketel One. 🙂 What do you think TAandy? Fullmetal Alchemist 2 on the PS2, Guild Wars on the machine, or like, actually be productive???

Hmm. Guild Wars or FMA?

About my next drink I'm thinking
What do I feel like drinking?
A dash of Skyy or Ketel One
Either will be as much fun.
