OT - laptop deals this holiday season?

I'm looking to buy a really cheap laptop this holiday season, somewhere in the $200-$400 range. Can anyone project what sort of deals (price + specs) I'll likely see pop up at retailers at around Black Friday this year?

Would it be reasonable to expect dual-core laptop deals for <$400?

bought a $250 toshiba last year on black friday. of course i stood in line with friends(was first in line and made news) for 15 hours.

can't remember the cpu specs but it came with 512mb ddr1, 80gb hd, cd-rw, 15" screen. decent lappy for $250 otd. sold it for $450 a few weeks later.

can't wait for black friday as i'll be doing the same thing(buying and then reselling for profit). also bought a $199 desktop w/ lcd and sold it for $400.

love BF🙂

How about "read the rules if appropriate." 😉 (this should go in hardware)

I sure hope there are some sub-$400 dual core deals. If I can afford it at the time I'll get in line as early as midnight if needed for one.

Possible if they are really hurting for year end sales to meet a quota.
