It's 7.30 am.
I've just taken my first dose of Fleet Phospho-Soda which is (to put it mildly) a very strong bowel cleanser.
Going by last years experience I've got about 30 minutes before the s*!t hits the fan, so to speak.
Enjoy your breakfasts !
PS
In case you're wondering if I've lost my mind as well as the contents of my bowel, I'm going in for a Colonoscopy tomorrow (look it up).
And because I am such a kind and generous soul, I thought I'd share this with all you lucky people out there !

While I haven't had the "pleasure" of a colonoscopy yet,
my wife did a few months ago.

The new inflate-a-colon method is sooooooo much better than the barium

Just hope the nurse/technician controlling the air pressure doesn't over inflate you like a spare tire!!!!!!!!

good luck. hope your results are as "clean" as my wife's.

Thanks.
I had this done last year, but because I was "out" I don't remember anything.
The barium enema was a different matter though.
That must be the most embarassing thing I've ever had done
I watched on the monitor screen while the doctor inflated my colon, stupidly hoping like hell it wouldn't burst :eek::eek:

Sorry to probe with questions, but how long is it going to be before I have to suffer through this? I'm 19 now.

What's worse? A colonoscopy or a barium enema. I've had the latter and can tell you it sucked!

I've had a barium enema before, and my wife has had a colonoscopy.

The Go Light stuff they made her drink to clean her out was nasty, but she was put under for the scope work.

While I remained fully awake for the whole barium enema, including them inserting the balloon and inflating it, then feeling like my guts were going to burst while they kept telling me to hold it, hold it, don't move......and finally the mad dash to the toilet, barely making it in time. :Q

Barium enema gets my vote for the worst of the two, as it adds a whole new meaning to the term "anal-retentive". :Q

*shudders* at the memory.......

Best of luck Andy, hope everything comes out ok! :)

I really don't want to talk about it ... it was that bad!

I've been goosey ever since. The surest way to get popped in the nose has been to play a little grab ass with ole Smoke. :Q :p :D
