OT: Is it possible to remove the annoying autoforwarding from the forums?

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else...

But about 10 seconds after a page loads, i get forwarded to what i can only assume is an anandtech sponsor page (or is intended to be). Unfortunately, for whoever did the linking, it's forwarding me to a page that can't be found:

http://connect.247media.ads.link4ad.../anandtech_software/19844;type=t;uniq=randnum

This is really annoying when I'm trying to browse the forums (or read an article on Anandtech), as i have to hit the Stop button right after i the page has loaded to assure that i don't get forwarded.

Can one of the mods remove this "feature"?

I'm not sure this is a forum issue as much as it is an Anandtech itself issue, because it happens on all the A-tech pages. Now that i'm looking at it, i'm not so sure it even is an autoforward, it may just be that the server can't find an ad for the top of the page and it's timing out...

What version of IE (or Netscape) are you using? I'm using IE 5 and occasionally an ad won't load correctly, but it doesn't forward me anywhere.

I don't think there's anything they can do about this to be honest.

I've noticed this too when using IE. Not only on Anandtech, but on other sites as well.

It's one of the reasons I don't use IE anymore.

I'm using IE 5. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's for like a week straight, which leads me to believe something is being turned on then off again. Then it'll stop, and won't happen for a long time, then it's for another week or so straight.
