OT - I'm outta here

...for pretty much all of tomorrow (don't worry - or do - because I'll be back :Q).

I'm going to Indianapolis (if you can't figure out which state that city's in, you need help 😉) tomorrow (Friday) for a 4-H dog obedience trial. Lady, my 8 year old Shetland Sheepdog, will be showing at level 3A (somewhat like AKC CDX, but also with the retrieve) in the morning, but the event lasts all day, so hopefully I'll not be too tired to post stats when I get home. 😱

Pics will be available, if - and only if - mom can remember how to use the SLR, and manages to not mess up any of the settings on the lens or camera (and that's a big IF). If only I could be in two places at once... 😎

I'm training my GSD (basic protection so far- just started muzzle work), and seriously thinking of joining the Shutzund program my trainers run. If I had never gotten a Sheppard that of course HAD to be trained, I would have never found out how rewarding dog training is. Good stuff 🙂

Odd coincidence. I am reading the ULTIMATE version (compilation of the series) now. About to finish the third today or tomorrow. Previously, I had only been able to read the first.

Well, I got back from work today, and am just now awake enough to post something coherent. Unfortunately, I don't know how well she did, and won't find out until I get my score sheet back. My SLR uses film (oh how I wish it took CompactFlash 😉), so the pics won't be available for a few days, either. I'll update & rename the thread when more info is available.
