Dual Athlon 2000+ MP's
SCSI based system with RAID-5

What MB would you use.

What case would you use? This must be a rackmount chassis. 1U or 2U, only.

:)

I don't have any experience with building rack mount system. I thought that only the Tyan motherboards are advertised as rack mount ready. Goodluck:)

The Tyan Thunder K7, Tyan Thunder K7X, and Tyan Thunder K7X Pro are the only Athlon MP boards I know of with the angled DIMM slots that may be necessary for a 1U chassis.

Tyan Thunder MP

It is the only Dual AMD board with SCSI onboard, and it has the angled RAM slots so it'll fit in a 1-2U unit.

You can fit straight slotted ones in a regular 1u case, but you need those super short dimms. Angled would be a better choice in the end though.
