I think the reviewers said that cause you can toss it away.

I can't stand the Zx2 or any escort. I drove my ex roommates and it handled like crap, had no power, and the interior was crap.

Eh? It's got the same stuff under the skin as the Mazda protege. The ZX2 has a very good reputation for being quite fun to drive from most of the automags. The car is actually more mazda than it is ford. The only ford vehicle to make consumer reports "Recommended" list.

A lot of automags have said that if you could transplant the engine and suspension of the ZX2 into a civic you'd have the perfect econo-car.

I have ZEtech 😛 ....seriously that's what it's called. So whenever I run by a civic i will be like your V-Tech got owned by a Zeeeeeeeeeetech 😀
