OT:I was just Given a Compaq 500mhz Desktop...

My father in law (god help him) just went and bought a brand new gateway. He got a nice one though. P4 1.8 etc. He just gave me his compaq 500 mhz athlon pc. So now the decision... do i turn it into a server.... or do i make it a pc for my kid? I have a 5 year old in Kindergarten. She is only playing little games and using it for paint and stuff. Help a bro out. Just opinions please!!! Thanks

500 slot a or socket a? if the machine is stable ..I'd either sell/place it with a family/person more in need and put a 5yr old with a lesser machine..like a P200 or so..unless the 5yr old is showing a serious learning curve where they are spankin' you in either games or aptitude on using a pc.. ..but you should have posted this in OffTopic forum..take care
