Yes, that's true with ATI's early drivers and today's games. Wait until they get mature drivers and some DirectX8.1 games get on the market. Better yet, wait until Nvidia releases their card and the prices drop. I paid $298 shipped for my Radeon64 because I got it on advance order. Now you can pick it up for a lot less than that. 🙁
