Can someone explain how to get the deal at giftcertificates.com?

i.e. how do I buy $300 worth for $250?

there is a promo code somewhere out there for $50 extra for a $250 purchase.

1) buy the $250 worth of GC's (or better yet, get a supercertificate which is good for all the participating stores) make sure to enter the promo code. the free $50 might not show up in ur cart, but does work as far as i know (i used it last week)

2) send it to yourself or friends (takes up to 2-3 days, sometimes much faster)

3) in a week or so you will recieve an email with ur $50 code to redeem.

note: WATCH OUT. Only some of the stores have emailable GC's, so that means for somewhere like banana republic, u need to wait for them to send it. also, shipping is not free unless u're the RECIPIENT of the GC ---> SO, send urself a supercertificate first and then redeem it since you have to pay for the s/h. also remember most stores i believe only have GC's by the $50 increments. it's sort of a hassle to get this $50 free...so make sure u know what u're getting into.


also, OT posts asking "How Do I..." like this should be posted in the HOW DO I post. someone will probably eventually help ya out. lotta ppl get pissed since they see a lot of non-Hot Deals in this section of the board. this should be enough info for u till this gets locked up. good luck.
