OT - How the "Grover Gray" story ends up

Since I spilled my guts about how Grover died... I thought I'd just share how the story ends.

Seems my wife went back to the vet and rescued him from a fate of going to the rendering plant - so we're having a little funeral here today.

Late last night when I was sitting in my wife's office, she disappears for a minute - and suddenly I found the most beautiful little Holland lop - just 2 months old in my hands. 🙂

She went out in a rainstorm, found a breeder that had this particular breed - arranged to meet after-hours and brought me a new friend. Quite a woman I married.

Everybody was so nice, and so supportive - and I thank you all. It still hurts - but we now are welcoming "Granger Gray" 🙂 It's a sunny day here in Seattle. 🙂

Sorry for your loss, Happy for your gain of a new friend.
I have a three legged german shepherd/greyhound cross that I wouldn't part with for anything😀
Now I just gotta wish for a wife like that.. You are lucky there.

At 4:00 this afternoon my little Grover was laid to rest. 🙁
He's in the yard he loved. We'll miss him - resting next to Annie, and Manx. 🙂
We move on.

My crack rack will now be known as the "Grover Gray Crack Rack" and by gosh, It is going to be a COW KILLER! - It seems very appropriate.

I'm going to cinch up my belt, stop with the sobbing - and get on with life. Damn I loved that little guy...
