Guys,
we have an internal webserver open to the internet. Anyway we just happened to notice that one of our filemaker librarys is passworded.. I didnt set the password and the database was accessable yesterday.. any way to hack into this.

there are something like 5000 records on that database. It took 1 month to input them in.

never mind.. I have to send it to filemaker to have them lookinto the file.. This sucks..
Anyway that's life here..a measly $75 and 2 weeks.. and I will have a no passworded file.
in the mean time i have to secure the webserver a lot more.

well dc.. they are pointing fingers at each other..

I tried all the standard passowords.. nothing so far.
The funny thing is you cant set the password from over the webbrower.. so that means it brings one department with 4 people to question.. and they all point at each other..
oh well.. its another expense for the company.

I now dont have to worry about trying to send it over.. Let me see what his peice of software does.. if I find the first letter and its soemthing from our normal passwords.. I can guess it..

Hey cool hope it works!

You are right the demo will give you the first letter for free and hopefully it rings a bell with someone.
If not then at least 45 bucks for the program is cheaper than 75 and waiting two weeks!
